Who is Lumenroot's advisory work designed for?
Our services are built for owner-managed and owner-led companies in Malaysia with roughly five to one hundred employees. This includes trading companies, professional services firms, manufacturing SMEs, and growing F&B or retail operators. If you have a founder still making core decisions, our engagements are designed with your context in mind.
What is the difference between the three services?
The Operating Model Workshop (RM 480) is a short, focused engagement — two weeks — for companies that want to map how the business actually runs. The Quarterly Strategy Cadence (RM 2,200) is a three-month programme for teams that need a planning rhythm. The Annual Partnership (RM 4,500) is a twelve-month retainer for companies that want a steady external sounding board for ongoing strategic decisions.
Do you provide financial or investment advice?
No. Lumenroot operates strictly in the operational and strategic advisory space. We do not provide financial planning, investment guidance, legal advice, or any services that require professional licensing. Our work is focused on how your business is organised, how decisions are made, and how strategic priorities are set and followed through.
How does an engagement typically begin?
Most engagements begin with a thirty-to-forty-five minute introductory call. We use that time to understand your company's current situation, what prompted you to look for advisory support, and which service, if any, is the right fit. There is no cost for the introductory conversation.
Are sessions conducted in-person in Kuala Lumpur or remotely?
Most working sessions are conducted remotely via video call. Offsites and facilitated workshops — which are part of the Quarterly Cadence and Annual Partnership — are typically held in person, usually at our Jalan Ampang office or a venue of the client's choosing within the Klang Valley. Arrangements outside KL can be discussed.
How is client information handled?
All information shared during an engagement is treated as confidential. We do not reference client names, share business details with other clients, or use engagement materials for marketing purposes without explicit agreement. A mutual confidentiality arrangement is available on request before any substantive work begins.
